ABS and ASA

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Copolymer (ABS)

Transparent plastics based on ABS and enriched with rubber components differ significantly from opaque standard plastics. The ABS+PC blend shows increased heat distortion resistance with a higher PC content and offers stiffness and hardness comparable to pure PC.

Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate Copolymer (ASA)

ASA stands out due to the use of acrylate rubber and offers particularly high weather and heat resistance compared to ABS. Exterior parts made of ASA do not require painting. Similar to ASA, AES is used in areas requiring high light and weather resistance.

ASA + PC blends offer excellent heat resistance, which can be increased up to 160°C by combining with PPE+PS.
