High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is divided into three application areas:
- Blow extrusion For blown film applications, HDPE also offers high stiffness at low thickness, making it ideal for blow extrusion processes. The material composition ensures optimal performance for these specific applications.
- Injection molding HDPE is characterized by its versatility and excellent price-performance ratio. It is a thermoplastic polymer that, thanks to its hardness, flexibility, and impact resistance, is ideal for consumer and industrial goods even at low temperatures. HDPE complies with FDA regulations and can therefore be used for food and medical applications.
- Blow molding HDPE resins, thanks to their crack resistance, stiffness, and ability to withstand high temperatures and deformations, provide solutions for many applications. They offer a great balance of properties for almost every blow molding process for hollow bodies.
